The 'Studio'

Yeah, not quite as glamourous as you were probably expecting!
(and yes, it really is that disorganised!)

Eventually I aim to make my own stable blocks as although I love these two to bits, they really are massive and aren't quite what I imagine the EAE ones to look like.

I have a memory like a sieve so I often refer to my map and stable plans when shooting a photostory just in case I muddle up who lives where. In the grand scheme of things it's probably not that important as only myself and some very obsessive readers would notice but I like to make things accurate!

My indoor livery block is made up of several doll's house brick paper covered sheets of card, propped up on all sides with stacks of CDs, pencil cases and whatever else I have to hand at the time. I use upturned mousemats for rubber matting and plain card for concrete. The looseboxes themselves are strips of balsa wood and painted bamboo skewers.

The indoor arena is even simpler - a long strip of balsa wood with card rectangles glued on, more brick paper and some self adhesive doll's house carpet to act as sand.
